Miles Elementary and Miles Junior High Won the UIL District Meet this week! Congratulations to all students and teachers!
Don't forget! Friday, December 6 is a Teacher Workday. There is no school for students.
We have had a change of plans for the repair of the gym: Harrison Roofing will start on Saturday. High school students may park in their regular spaces this week. We will keep you updated on this project.

For the rest of the week, we will have workers working on the gym to repair the side panels. All students need to park in the auditorium parking lot for the remainder of the week.

We hope that everyone enjoyed their break and is ready to come back. It will be a busy week with the Ribs Tournament, Junior High UIL and the local stock show. Juniors and Seniors that were present all day on 11/15 will be allowed off campus lunch on Wednesday. Friday is a student holiday, of course that will be the second day of the Ribs Tournament and set-up day for the local stock show.
The game gym has been rewaxed (not relaxed)🤣, please stay off until Dec. 1.

Thanks to everyone that attended school Friday after a late night Thursday. It will be a busy week but a much needed break is on the way. Junior High OAP's hard work will come to fruition this week as they perform for the student body and then compete Thursday in Colorado City. The week before Thanksgiving is also a great time to check the student portal.

THSCA, district and senior passes will be honored. We will be the visiting team.
Bi-district is Thursday, November 14, at 7:00pm in Brock versus Lindsay. We will be the visiting team. $6 adults, $4 students. THSCA, district and senior passes will be accepted and ticketing information is coming soon from Brock ISD.
Pep Rally will be at 8:00 am on Thursday morning.
Miles ISD will also early release on Thursday at 2:00pm

There is a lot going on this week. Monday we will have our annual Veteran's Day Ceremony. We do ask that students do not park in front of the gym or by the AG shop on Monday to save those spots for our honored guest. All of the volleyball and basketball games are subject to change, depending on the volleyball play-offs. If students have not returned their signed report cards, those need to be turned in on Monday. The football game will be Thursday, but the site is TBD.
Tonight's game will be considered a home game for Miles, therefore, the clear bag policy is not in effect for this game at San Angelo Stadium. Ticket prices are $6 for adults and $4 for students. Passes are accepted. There will be a concession stand provided by SAISD.
Miles ISD is the home team. Here is the parking and gate information for the game!
Tonight's game vs Roscoe has been relocated to San Angelo Stadium. We are the home team. Gates open at 6:00 game starts at 7:00. As of right now there is no concession stand. Let's go Bulldogs!!

It is hard to believe that we are already starting the 3rd Six-Weeks. Report cards for the 2nd Six-Weeks will be issued on Wednesday.
Monday is a big day for our Volleyball Team. Good luck to them as they travel all the way to Fort Stockton to face Fort Hancock.
On Tuesday the students will participate in a mock election.
Students will be taking the ACT this week. Mrs. K is giving one of her superb review sessions on Tuesday from 6-9. Anyone that is testing is encouraged to attend.
Friday will be the last home football game for the season.
