We are trying to revive a tradition at MHS by holding a blood drive this week. We have had a positive response from the students, but also want to open it up to parents. There is a link to register on the Weekly and there is an informational sheet attached also. Wednesday evening will be busy. Many of our students will be attending Field of Faith in San Angelo. Two of our students: Austin and EJ will be featured speakers. That same night there will be a Public Bond Meeting in the Junior High Cafeteria at 6 p.m. Thursday we will have our first ever Hispanic Heritage Fashion show at 2:17 in the auditorium. Report cards should be returned by Monday.

Thanks to everyone that helped us have a great Homecoming. Next week is the last week of the 1st Six-Weeks. This report card will determine UIL eligibility so this would be a great time to check student portal and clean-up any missing assignments. Monday during Level-UP students will be taking down all of the Homecoming decorations. Wednesday will be the Bob Fuller Cross-Country Meet, here at Miles. Friday will be a student holiday/staff workday. Have fun at Cotton Fest.

At the present moment, Miles ISD plans to return to school tomorrow at regular time. Buses will run on pavement only. Miles ISD will not cross any blocked off road, therefore, if you live in those areas,as a parent, you may choose to bring your child to school or stay home, that will be a family decision.
